Elk City Pork 'N Apple Casserole

INGREDIENTS:
6 medium pork chops 1 cup flour 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper 1 cup vegetable oil 2 large apples
1/2 cup sugar 1 tsp cinnamon



1 Wash pork chops. Mix together flour, salt and pepper. Dip chops in flour mixture, covering well on both sides. Heat oil in frying pan; brown floured chops on both sides. Wash and slice apples. Place a layer of apples in casserole; sprinkle with part of mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Place chops in casserole alternately with remaining apples sprinkled with remaining sugar mixture; end with apples. Cover. Bake in 375 F. oven for 25 minutes.
