Poteau Venison-Noodle Medley

INGREDIENTS:
1 lb ground venison 3 tbsp shortening 1/2 cup diced onion
1/2 cup diced green pepper 1 cup diced celery 1 (1-lb) can red kidney beans
4 cups tomatoes 2 cups broad noodles, uncooked 1 (4-oz) can mushrooms
1 tsp seasoned salt 1 tbsp chili powder 1 tbsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper



1 Brown venison in shortening in large skillet. Saute onion, green pepper and celery until transparent; add remaining ingredients. Mix well; cover tightly. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer for 30 minutes.
