| 2 cups flour | 4 tsp baking powder | 1/2 tsp salt |
| 1/4 cup butter | 3/4 cup sharp cheese, grated | 1 egg, well beaten |
| 2/3 cup milk | ||
| 1 | Sift dry ingredients together twice. Work in the butter with tips of fingers, then add the grated cheese and mix well. Combine beaten egg with the milk, add to the mixture, and make into a soft dough. Pinch off small pieces of dough, form into balls, and place three together in each well-greased muffin pan cup. Bake in 400 F. oven for 20 minutes. |
