| 1 onion, chopped | 2 tbsp butter or margarine | 1 tbsp flour |
| 2 lbs turtle meat, diced | 1 cup water | 1/4 cup sherry |
| 1 clove garlic, minced | ||
| 1 | Saute onion in butter or margarine until tender. Blend in flour. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes. |
