| 2 cups sifed flour | 3/4 tsp salt | 2-1/2 tsp baking powder |
| 1/4 cup crunchy-style peanut butter | 2 tbsp shortening | 3/4 cup milk |
| 1 | Sift dry ingredients and work in blended peanut butter and shortening. Add milk slowly, stirring to a soft dough. Knead a few times on a lightly floured board; roll or pat to 1/2-in. thickness. Cut in rounds and bake on an ungreased baking sheet in a hot oven 450 F. 12-15 minutes. Split, butter, and tuck in a slim slice of ham for a wonderful combination of flavors. |
