| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 2 pounds of carrots | 1/2 cup of butter or margarine | 1 tablespoon of dark brown sugar |
| 1/2 cup of orange juice | salt to taste | |
| 1 | Wash and grate the carrots. |
| 2 | Melt the butter in a large skillet and add the carrots and sugar. |
| 3 | Cover and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes. |
| 4 | Add the orange juice and cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until the carrots are cooked but crunchy. |
| 5 | Season with salt. |
