Mix brown sugar, nuts and flour in large bowl. Stir in melted butter and mix with hands until light and crumbly. Remove 1 cup of mixture to use as topping. Place remainder in 8-in. square pan and press firmly. Bake at 350 F. for 12-15 minutes. Beat cream cheese until smooth with the 1/4 cup sugar. Beat in egg, lemon juice, milk and vanilla. Pour onto the baked crust. Top with reserved crumbs. Return to 350 F. oven and bake for about 25 minutes. Cool thoroughly and cut in 2-in squares. Can bake the day before serving. Cover with plastic wrap and keep refrigerated. |
