| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter | 2 cups milk | 3 eggs, slightly beaten |
| 1/2 cup sugar | 1/4 tsp salt | 1/2 tsp vanilla |
| 1 | Blend 1/2 cup of the milk into peanut butter. Gradually add remaining milk, beating until smooth. Combine eggs with sugar, salt and vanilla and blend into peanut butter-milk mixture. Pour into buttered 1-qt baking dish and bake in slow oven 325 F. for 45 minutes, until knife inserted half-way between side of baking dish and center comes out clean. Garnish with whipped cream and bits of candied fruit or bright jelly, if desired. |
