Checotah Baked Zucchini Squash

INGREDIENTS:
SPRINKLE TO TASTE: cinnamon cloves nutmeg
brown sugar small pat butter or margarine



1 After washing squash, cut in about 3 or 4-in pieces; cut down through center. Take out seeds. Cook until center is tender in water to cover. Drain. Fill centers and sprinkle with mixture.
2 Bake in 400 F. oven until browned slightly on top after adding water to cover bottom of dish. Be sure to place peeling part of pieces down so that the seasoning will be cupped in the seed cavities. Large zucchini may be used this way.
