| 2 cups flour | 2 tbsp baking powder | 1/2 tsp salt |
| 1/2 cup water or buttermilk | salt | |
| 1 | Combine flour, baking powder and salt; then make a well and mix in liquid. Turn out on floured board and knead. Flatten with palm of hand and roll out to 1/2 inch in thickness. Place on back of a woodstove that has been sprinkled with salt. Cook until light brown on one side, then turn over. Do not have stove too hot. When cooked, spread with margarine and sprinkle with salt. |
