| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 2 cups dried prunes | 2 cups dried apricots | 1 cup dried figs |
| 1 cup raisins | 1 cup blanched almonds | 1/2 cup pine kernels |
| 1 tsp cinnamon | 1/4 tsp nutmeg | 1/2 cup brown sugar |
| 1 tbsp rose extract (optional) | juice and zest of 1 orange | |
| 1 | Stonge the prunes if neccesary and chop coarsely. |
| 2 | Halve the aprocots and quarter the figs. |
| 3 | Place the fruits in a large bowl and add the rest of the ingredients. Cover with cold water. |
| 4 | Stir well and keep in a cool place for 1 to 2 days, stirring a couple of times each day. Mix again before serving. |
