| 2 cups white flour | 4 tablespoons powdered milk | 1 teaspoon salt |
| 1 teaspoon shortening | ||
| 1 | Combine all ingredients, add lukewarm water to make a soft dough. Pat out dough with hands until thin and shape into patty about one fourth inch thick. Fry in hot lard or other shorting about one inch deep, in large pan. Brown on both sides, serve hot with honey or jelly. |
