INGREDIENTS:
1 cup sugar 1/3 cup boiling water 1 egg white
1 tespoon vanilla or 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice



1 Put sugar and water in saucepan, stir until sugar is dissolved and bring to boiling point. Beat egg white until stiff and add 1 tablespoon boiling syrup. Add 4 more tablespoons of syrup one at a time and continue the beating. Repeat. Continue to let syrup boil and add to egg whites, beating. Add flavoring and spread.
