| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 8 bananas, very nice and ripe, skin removed | sugar | butter |
| cinnamon | lemon juice | 1 tablespoon water or 1 tablespoon cider |
| 1 | Cut bananas in half lengthwise. Place in buttered pie dish, sprinkle with sugar, a little cinnamon, dot with a few small pieces of butter, add dash of lemon juice. Add tablespoon of water or cider and bake in moderate 350 F. oven about 45 minutes. Serve hot with thick running cream, or cream whipped up with currant jelly. |
