| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 1 large onion, sliced | 2 tablespoons melted butter | 1/4 cups hot water |
| 6 slices liver (calf, veal, or beef), cut 1/2 inch thick | 2 tablespoons flour, seasone with salt and pepper | 1 tablespoon chopped parsley |
| 2 teaspoons thyme | 2 tablespoons thick chili sauce | 1 tablespoon brown sugar |

| 1 | Place onion in oven pan, pour over it butter and water. Cover and bake in moderate 350 F. oven 30 minutes. Dredge liver in flour; arrange over onions, sprinkle with parsley and thyme and dot with chili sauce, sugar, and butter. Bake covered for 30 minutes at 350 F. and uncovered until liver is browned. |
