| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 24 large green chilli pods | 2 qts water | 1/2 lb suet chopped |
| 1 tsp salt | 1 medium garlic clove | 1/2 tsp oregano |
| 1/2 tsp cominos | ||
| 1 | Wash chilli peppers and remove the seeds. Boil in the salted water until tender. |
| 2 | In the meantime, fry the chopped suet with the chopped garlic clove. Pour off the grease and keep. Discard the leftover suet and garlic clove. |
| 3 | Press the cooked chilli peppers through a colander; add the rendered suet grease and all other ingredients. |
| 4 | Cook over a low fire for 15 minutes. It should have the consistency of thin catsup. |
