| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 1 cup cattail flowers or pollon | 1 cup whole wheat flour | 2 teaspoons baking powder |
| 1/2 teaspoon salt | 1 egg | 4 tablespoons sunflower or vegetable oil |
| 4 tablespoons honey | 1-1/2 cups milk | 2 tablespoons toasted sunflower seeds |
| 1 | Mix cattail flowers or pollon and flour, baking powder and salt. Beat egg, add oil, honey and milk. Stir into dry ingredients just enough to combine the two. |
| 2 | Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes, or until tested done. |
