| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 1-1/2 lb venison burger | 1 medium green pepper | 3 cups red pinto beans |
| 1 large onion, chopped | 1/8 teaspoon cumin | 1 tablespoon chili powder |
| 2 pints tomato sauce | ||
| 1 | Wash beans and sort. Bring to a boil turn off heat, let beans sit covered for one hour. Turn heat back on, bring to a second boil, turn down and simmer. |
| 2 | Mix venison with onion, brown, cook until almost done. Set aside. Add seasonings to beans. Then add tomato sauce. Cook beans until almost done. Add venison, continue to cook until done. |
