Christmas Almond Soup (Wigilijna Zupa Migdalowa)

INGREDIENTS:
4 cups milk 1/2 pound almonds, finely ground 2 cups cooked, leftover rice
1 teaspoon almond extract 1/2 cup currants or raisins 3 tablespoons sugar, or to taste



1 Combine all ingredients, and heat through gently. Don't scald the milk. Serve after the fish course.
