Cocido De Garbanzo (Chick Pea Stew)

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup chopped ham 1 cup fried sausage 1 can chick peas or 1 cup cooked garbanzos
salt and pepper 1 small onion sliced 1/8 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp oregano



1 Brown the chopped ham and small onion in hot fat. Add the garlic and sausage along with the garbanzos.
2 Cook until the garbanzos are hot all of the way through, add the oregano, salt and pepper.
3 Add a little water and let simmer for about one hour until it becomes a thick soup.
