Dried Baked Sweet Corn

INGREDIENTS:
3 cups shelled, dried, baked sweet corn 1/2 cup bacon drippings 1 tablespoon salt
12 cups water



1 Wash and dry baked sweet and crack in a food chopper.
2 Put cracked corn in a saucepan and add water, salt, and drippings.
3 Cover and simmer for two hours or until corn is tender. Stir often to prevent scorching.
4 Serve as a vegetable or add to stews.
