Fresh Corn Chile Fritters

INGREDIENTS:
3 cups fresh corn, scraped from the cob 1/4 cup chopped fresh chile 1 teaspoon salt
1 egg shortening



1 Grind corn very fine with a hand meat grinder.
2 Add chile and salt to corn.
3 Mix in egg.
4 Cook on a greased griddle, as you would pancakes.
