INGREDIENTS:
2 Tbsp shortening 1/4 cup grated Jack cheese 2 cups beans



1 Melt shortening. Mash beans with a fork or potato masher. Add beans to hot grease and stir well. Heat through. Add cheese at the last minute. Serve hot. The fat is a necessity to make leftover beans regain flavor.
