Guisantes Verdes Con Pinones (Green Peas with Pinon Nuts)

INGREDIENTS:
2 cups shelled green peas 1/4 cup water 2 Tbsp butter or oil
1/4 cup shelled pinon nuts 1/2 tsp garlic powder or 1/2 garlic clove, minced



1 Melt butter and add all ingredients except pinon nutmeats. Cook until peas are tender. Put cooked beans in a buttered serving dish. Sprinkle pinon nutmeats over the peas. Serve hot.
