Strawberry Ice Cream

INGREDIENTS:
2 cups fresh or frozen strawberries, thawed 1 egg, beaten 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup half-and-half 1 cup dairy sour cream 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract



1 Puree berries in blender or food processor fitted with metal blade; set aside. In small saucepan, combine beaten egg, sugar, and half-and-half. Cook slightly. Stir in pureed berries, sour cream, and vanilla. Pour into ice cream canister. Freeze in ice cream maker according to manufacturer's directions.
