Baked Ham and Sweet Potatoes |

| 1 smoked ham slice (about 1 pound), cut about 1 inch thick | whole cloves | 2 tablespoons brown sugar |
| 2 tablespoons fine dry bread crumbs | 1 teaspoon grated orange peel | 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard |
| 1 orange | 3/4 cup orange juice | maraschino cherries, halved |
| parsley sprigs | sliced cooked sweet potatoes | |
| 1 | Place the ham slice in an 11x7x2-inch baking dish. Insert the cloves in the ham slice at 1 inch intevals. In a bowl, mix the brown sugar, bread crumbs, orange peel, and dry mustard. Sprinkle over the ham. Rinse the orange and cut into 1/4-inch slices. Arrange the slices on top of the ham over the sugar mixture. Carefully pour the orange juice over the top of the ham slice. |
