| 1-1/2 cups Crisco | 3 cups plain flour | 1 cup Mello Yello |
| 1 teaspoon vanilla | 1 teaspoon lemon | 3 cups sugar |

| 1 | Let the eggs and Mello Yello sit out long enough to reach room temperature. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the shortening and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add the flour and Mello Yello alternately starting and ending with the flour. Add the flavorings. Bake at 325 degress for 1-1/2 hours. |
