Garlic Grilled Chicken

INGREDIENTS:
4 boneless chicken breast halves 3/4 cup picante sauce 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon lime juice 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder or 2 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin



1 Place chicken between 2 pieces of plastic wrap. Pound chicken to 1/2-inch thickness, using meat mallet or rolling pin. Cut lengthwise into 1-inch strips.
2 Mix picante sauce, or, lime juice, garlic and cumin. Add chicken and toss to coat.
3 Thread chicken accordion-style on 8 metal skewers. Grill chicken 10 minutes or until done, turning often. Serve with grilled vegetables and chunky salsa, if desired.
