Sweet Chili Sauce

INGREDIENTS:
30 ripe tomatoes 12 tart apples, cored 10 medium-sized onions, peeled
5 red peppers, seeded 4 cups white vinegar 2-1/2 cups sugar
4 tablespoons pickling salt 2 tablespoons cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon red pepper



1 Coarsely grind or chop the tomatoes, apples, onions, and peppers. Combine in a large stainless stell pot. Add the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Cook until the sauce thickens to a desirable thickness, about 2 hours.
2 Ladle the hot sauce into clean, hot pint jars. Cover. Refrigerate or freeze.
