| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 30 ripe tomatoes | 12 tart apples, cored | 10 medium-sized onions, peeled |
| 5 red peppers, seeded | 4 cups white vinegar | 2-1/2 cups sugar |
| 4 tablespoons pickling salt | 2 tablespoons cinnamon | 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves |

| 1 | Coarsely grind or chop the tomatoes, apples, onions, and peppers. Combine in a large stainless stell pot. Add the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Cook until the sauce thickens to a desirable thickness, about 2 hours. |
| 2 | Ladle the hot sauce into clean, hot pint jars. Cover. Refrigerate or freeze. |
