| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 2 cups chopped butternuts (walnuts may be used) | 1 cup grated dry bread | 1/2 teaspoon baking powder |
| 1 egg | 1 small onion, chopped fine | 1 cup butter, melted |
| 1/2 teaspoon salt | 1 cup heavy cream | |
| 1 | Combine butternuts with bread crumbs. Add baking powder and mix well. Add egg. Cook onion in butter, add salt. Beat cream and fold into nut-crumb-egg mixture. Bake in small pie tins in 350 F. oven for 30 minutes. |
