Butternut Pudding

INGREDIENTS:
2 cups chopped butternuts (walnuts may be used) 1 cup grated dry bread 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 egg 1 small onion, chopped fine 1 cup butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon salt 1 cup heavy cream



1 Combine butternuts with bread crumbs. Add baking powder and mix well. Add egg. Cook onion in butter, add salt. Beat cream and fold into nut-crumb-egg mixture. Bake in small pie tins in 350 F. oven for 30 minutes.
