| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 2 cups fresh or frozen unsweetened blackberries or boysenberries | 2/3 cup sugar | 2 teaspoons cornstarch |
| 2 tablespoons honey | 1 cup low-fat milk | 1 cup plain low-fat yogurt, stirred |
| 1 | In a blender or food processor fitted with metal blade, puree berries; strain and discard seeds. Set puree aside. In small saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch. Stir in honey and milk. Cook and stir over medium heat until translucent (about 5 to 7 minutes). Stir in pureed berries. Cool; then add yogurt. Freeze in ice cream maker according to manufacturer's directions. |
