| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 2 talbespoons butter or margarine | 1 small onion, sliced | 1/4 cup water or tomato juice |
| 2 tablespoons chopped green pepper | 1/4 teaspoon pepper | 1 bay leaf |
| 1/2 teaspoon crushed basil | 2 yellow summer squash | 2 medium zucchini |
| salt to taste | ||
| 1 | Melt butter in skillet. Saute onion slightly. Add liquid and green pepper. Cover and cook 5 minutes. Add pepper, bay leaf, basil and squash. Cover and simmer until squash is tender. Do not overcook. Salt to taste. |
