INGREDIENTS:
2 squares unsweetened chocolate 2-1/4 cups milk 1/4 cup sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon vanilla



1 Put chocolate and 2 cups milk in double boiler over boiling water. Mix sugar, cornstarch, and salt, and when well blended gradually pour on remaining 1/4 cup milk. Add to milk which has been scalded with chocolate and cook 15 minutes, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and afterward occasionally. Flavor and put in a nice glass dish. Chill and serve with sweetened thick cream.
