Hot Pineapple Salad

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cups sugar or 1/3 cup honey 2 tablespoons cornstarch 2 (20-ounce) cans crushed pineapple
1 egg, beaten 3 slices bread, cubed 1/2 cup butter



1 Combine sugar and cornstarch. Mix pineapple and egg together; add sugar mixture. Pour into 1-quart casserole. Brown bread in butter; sprinkle on pineapple mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. Good served with ham and scalloped potates.
