| 1-1/2 lbs ground beef | 1/2 cup chopped onion | 1/2 cup diced celery |
| 1 tablespoon Worcester sauce | 1/2 cup catsup | 1 clove garlic (minced) |
| 1 teaspoon salt | 3/4 cup water | 1/8 teaspoon pepper |
| 1/2 teaspoon paprika | 1 can tomato soup | 1 tablespoon vinegar |
| 2 tablespoons brown sugar | 1 teaspoon dry mustard | |
| 1 | Brown ground beef in hot shortening in skillet; discard excess fat, add remaining ingredients and stir very thoroughly. Cover and simmer about 1 to 1-1/2 hours. Serve over warmed hamburger buns or mashed potatoes. |
