Barbecued Sloppy Joes

INGREDIENTS:
1-1/2 lbs ground beef 1/2 cup chopped onion 1/2 cup diced celery
1 tablespoon Worcester sauce 1/2 cup catsup 1 clove garlic (minced)
1 teaspoon salt 3/4 cup water 1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika 1 can tomato soup 1 tablespoon vinegar
2 tablespoons brown sugar 1 teaspoon dry mustard



1 Brown ground beef in hot shortening in skillet; discard excess fat, add remaining ingredients and stir very thoroughly. Cover and simmer about 1 to 1-1/2 hours. Serve over warmed hamburger buns or mashed potatoes.
