| soup bone, with meat on it | 1 pound stew meat | 1/2 head cabbage, shredded |
| 4 onions, chopped | 2 or 3 potatoes, diced | 1 large can tomatoes, mashed |
| 1 large can V-8 juice | 1 can or package (frozen) mixed vegetables | 1 tablespoon sugar |
| dash of Accent | salt and pepper to taste | |
| 1 | Cook soup bone and stew meat, covered with water, until meat is tender. Add the other ingredients and cook until vegetables are tender. |
