INGREDIENTS:
1 lb (450g) potato, boiled 1 lb (450g) turnips, boiled 2 tablespoons finely chopped chives
salt and freshly ground black pepper 2 oz (50g) butter or margarine



1 Boil the potatoes and turnips separately and let them dry in a colander over the stove. Then mash them together with the butter or margarine ensuring an even mix, stir in the chopped chives, season to taste, put into a hot dish and serve very hot. This is traditional served with Haggis.
