In a bowl combine flour with five-spice powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper. |

In a second bowl, beat eggs. |

In a third bowl, combine breadcrumbs and ginger. |

Dip veal slices one at a time in flour mixture, then egg, then breadcrumbs. Set breaded veal on a platter. |

In a saucepan heat oil to 375 F (190 C) and transfer to fondue pot (or heat oil in an electric fondue). Do not fill fondue pot more than half full. |

Spear breaded veal with fondue fork and fondue for 1 to 2 minutes or until golden brown. |
