| 1 1-lb can beets | 2 apples, cored, peeled, sliced | 2 tablespoons lemon juice |
| 1 tablespoon sugar | salt to taste | 1/2 cup sour cream |
| 1 tablespoon flour | ||
| 1 | Combine first 5 ingredients in a blender and puree. Pour into a saucepan and heat gently. A few minutes before serving combine the sour cream and flour, then stir into the beet mixture. Mix and heat through. Do not boil. |
