| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 4 tablespoons butter | 2 medium onions, sliced thin and chopped | 2 tablespoons chopped celery |
| salt and pepper to taste | 1/2 teaspoon marjoram | 1 tablespoon chopped parsley |
| 3 cups flaked cooked white fish | 1 eight inch uncooked pastry shell | 1 cup fine bread crumbs |

| 1 | Melt butter in saucepan, add onions and celery and saute until soft and golden but not brown. Season with salt and pepper, marjoram, and parsley. Let this blend, then remove from fire and combine with cooked fish. Pour this mixture into pie shell. Sprinkle over with bread crumbs. Pour in cream. In an oven preheated to 350 F. bake for 10 minutes, then reduce to 325 F. for another 20 minutes. Watch to prevent burning. |
