Chocolate Chip Pie

INGREDIENTS:
1 6-ounce package chocolate chips 2 tablespoons sugar 2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla or rum flavoring 4 eggs, separated 1 9-inch pie shell, baked and cooled
1/2 pint whipping cream



1 Combine chocolate chips, sugar and milk in to of double boiler and heat over boiling water to melt chocolate. Add flavoring and cool to lukewarm. Beat egg yolks, one at a time, into chocolate mixture. Beat egg whites separately and gently fold into mixture. Pour into baked pie shell and refrigerate. Garnish with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
