| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 1/2 cup shortening | 2 cups sugar | 2 eggs |
| 4 cups flour | 1/2 teaspoon salt | 1 teaspoon soda |
| 1 cup sour cream | 1 teaspoon vanilla | 1/4 cup sugar-cinnamon mixture |
| 1 | Cream shortening and sugar together. |
| 2 | Add vanilla. |
| 3 | Add eggs and beat until fluffy. |
| 4 | Sift flour. |
| 5 | Measure and add salt and soda. |
| 6 | Sift again. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with sour cream. |
| 7 | Mix thoroughly. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet, spaced 2 to 3 inches apart. |
| 8 | Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon mixture. |
| 9 | Bake at 375 for about 12 minutes. |
