Lentil Super Soup |

| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 1 pound dried lentils | 2 medium onions, chopped | 1 stick celery, diced |
| 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped | 16 ounce can stewed tomatoes | 2 beef bouillon cubes |
| 6 cups Coca-Cola | 1 tablespoon salt | 3/4 teaspoon liquid hot pepper sauce |
| 1 pound frankfurters | 1 teaspoon oil | |
| 1 | Pick over the lentils, wash and drain. Combine all the ingredients, except the frankfurters and oil, in a 5 or 6 quart saucepan. Cover and simmer over low heat for 2 hours, stirring occasionally. In a skillet, heat the oil and brown the frankfurters. Slice the frankfurters and add to the soup and cook 10 minutes longer. |
