| 2 pounds lean stewing beef, cut into bite-sized pieces | 12 small onions | 1 cup celery, chopped |
| 2 large potatoes, cut into eighths | 6 carrots, cut into 6 inch pieces | 1 slice white bread, cubed |
| 16 ounces (2 cans) tomato sauce with cheese | 1 cup Coca-Cola | 1-1/2 teaspoons salt |
| 1/8 teaspoon pepper | dill seed | parmesan cheese |
| 1 | Combine all ingredients except the parmesan cheese in a casserole dish. Sprinkle the parmesan cheese on top. Cover, and bake at 250 degrees for 4-1/2 to 5 hours. Do not open the oven door. |
