| 1 medium rabbit | 2 tbsp oil | 1 onion, chopped |
| 1 tbsp red chili powder | 1 tsp salt | 1 cup vinegar |
| 2 quarts water | 1/2 cup cornmeal | |
| 1 | Cut rabbit into serving pieces, place oil in large saucepan and brown rabbit in oil. Add remaining ingredients (except cornmeal) and simmer for 1-1/2 hours or until meat is tender. Add cornmeal gradually to pan, blending thoroughly. Simmer 10 minutes until the sauce thickens. |
