| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 8 oz fragrant pink rose petals | 2 pt water | 2 lb sugar |
| juice of 2 lemons | ||
| 1 | Place the rose petals and water in a preserving pan. Cover and bring in a boil. Simmer for 5 minutes then stir in the sugar. |
| 2 | Boil rapidly with the lid off for about 20 minutes, until the syrup thickens slightly. Add the lemon juice and bring once more. |
| 3 | Turn off the heat and allow it to cool. |
| 4 | Pour into sterlized jars. |
