INGREDIENTS:
8 oz fragrant pink rose petals 2 pt water 2 lb sugar
juice of 2 lemons



1 Place the rose petals and water in a preserving pan. Cover and bring in a boil. Simmer for 5 minutes then stir in the sugar.
2 Boil rapidly with the lid off for about 20 minutes, until the syrup thickens slightly. Add the lemon juice and bring once more.
3 Turn off the heat and allow it to cool.
4 Pour into sterlized jars.
