Marinated Pork Strips (Pork Tapa)

INGREDIENTS for 4-6 servings:

  • 2 pounds pork tenderloin, cut into quarter-inch slices
  • 6 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 6 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon finely minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon saltpeter
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons peanut oil

 

1 Combine all the ingredients and marinate overnight or for several days in the refrigerator. Drain pork and fry in oil until very well done. Drain on a piece of paper towel.
